Omaha, NE — Hours after Omaha’s latest homicide, more gunfire rippled through the north end of the city.
Shot Spotter alerted police of shots fired near 30th and Binney just after 1 a.m., Sunday. When officers arrived, they found two 16-year old boys suffering from non-life threatening gun shot wounds. Both boys were taken to Alegent-Creighton medical center.
The suspect’s car was described as a light colored PT cruiser. Officers were able to match the car description to a PT cruiser driving nearby. Officers found evidence inside the car that may linked the suspects to the shooting.
Police took 21-year old Davonte Hill and 21-year old Andrey Tolbert into custody. Hill was booked for two counts of felony assault and two counts of use of a weapon. Tolbert was booked for an outstanding warrant.
